What to know before you book

  • Concerts with dinner start early. Absolute Queen's night begins at 5 pm and Rave On's at 6 pm, both with a three-course meal. The pub and showroom gigs start at 9 or 10 pm, so eat first.
  • The Black Dog is a two-level night. Bands play inside while DJs take the Wooftop, and one ticket covers both. It runs from 10 pm to 2 am.
  • Two shows haven't priced yet. Toque and Absolute Queen are listed without public prices. We'll add them once the casinos publish them.
  • Old Strathcona or the suburbs? The Black Dog is on Whyte Avenue among other bars, so it's easy to move on after. The casino shows and Bunkers are destination nights; plan to stay put.
  • Check ages. None of these lists an age rule. Check the ticket page before buying for anyone under 18.

Getting there and home

The Black Dog is on Whyte Avenue; the casinos and Bunkers are in the northeast, southeast and northwest. See the Edmonton guide's "Getting home" section for late transit.
