Why we like it

“A full dinner and a Queen tribute is a crowd-pleaser that works for nearly any age group.” — clubZone NYE editors

About this party

If your idea of a countdown involves 'Bohemian Rhapsody' at full volume, Pure Casino Yellowhead has you covered. Absolute Queen, a tribute to Freddie Mercury and the band, is headlining the casino's New Year's Eve, packaged with a three-course meal and a champagne toast at midnight. The listing shows an early start, around 5 pm, so this is an evening-long package rather than a late show. Tickets went on public sale in mid-September 2026; pricing and the ticket link weren't shown in the source we checked, so contact the casino or check its website for availability. The casino is in the northwest off Yellowhead Trail at 153 Street, with free parking. It's a strong pick for anyone who wants the dinner-and-a-show format with one of the most crowd-pleasing catalogues in rock.
