Quick picks
- Home before midnight: NYE 2027 Waltz Dance Party & Beginner Lessons at St Barnabas Hall, Riverdale. It runs 6:15 to 11 pm, starts with lessons for beginners, and the organizer suggests an optional, informal midnight toast nearby for anyone who wants to carry on.
- The kids get their own program: An Istanbul Night in Richmond Hill. Children 12 and under get in free with registration, capped at 70 spots, and have a program of their own while the adults enjoy live Turkish music.
- Clear child pricing: Revelionul Bucuriei at the Versailles Convention Centre, Mississauga. Kids aged 3 to 15 pay a reduced ticket that covers dinner and entertainment.
- Everyone on the dance floor: Sts. Peter & Paul Banquet Hall, Scarborough. A beginner dance lesson opens the night, the music runs from ballroom to Top 40, and parking is free.

What to know before you book
- "All ages" means children are allowed, not that the night is built around them. Most of these run past midnight, until 1 or 2 am, in rooms where adults are drinking. Plan for the moment a younger child runs out of steam: a quiet corner, a second car, or leaving after the countdown.
- Register children even when they're free. The Istanbul Night only admits free child guests with registration, and spots are limited.
- Kids' tickets don't include the bar. At Versailles, the adult ticket includes the open bar and the child ticket covers dinner and entertainment. At the Istanbul Night, unlimited drinks are for guests 19 and over.
- The waltz party hasn't listed a price. Check the organizer's page before you go; we'll add the price when it's published.
- Free and outdoors? The City of Toronto's waterfront celebration ran last year, but 2026 details aren't out yet. We'll add times, place and transit to the Toronto guide once the City confirms.
Getting there and home
Riverdale is in the east end; the other halls are in the suburbs and easiest by car. Late transit details are in the Toronto guide's "Getting home" section.
