New Year's Eve Galas in Vancouver 2026: Black-Tie Balls & Gala Dinners

Vancouver has 4 New Year's Eve galas on Thursday, December 31, 2026, from $108 where a price is published. They split neatly in two. The Fairmont Pacific Rim and Il Centro are dinner galas: doors at 6:30 pm, dinner around 7:30, then dancing. The Rosewood Hotel Georgia and Hilton Metrotown start later, at 10 and 9 pm, and are mostly about the dance floor, though Metrotown opens with dinner. Three are in hotels, in Coal Harbour, downtown and Burnaby, and one is at the Italian Cultural Centre in East Vancouver. Prices and tickets were checked 1 Nov 2026. Updated 1 Nov 2026.

What to know before you book

  • Dinner gala or party gala? If you want to sit down and be fed, choose the Fairmont or Il Centro and arrive at the start; dinner is the first act. The Hotel Georgia serves early passed canapés rather than a meal, so eat before you go.
  • The dress code is a rule at the Georgia. The hotel lists evening wear, jackets for men and no jeans, athletic wear or sneakers. The other three don't publish a dress code, but a gala is still a dress-up night.
  • The Fairmont ticket is final. Tickets are non-refundable and are swapped for hard copies at will call between 6:15 and 7:15 pm, so bring ID and arrive on time.
  • Dietary needs go in early. The Fairmont's menu is fixed, and dietary requests must be sent at least ten days ahead.
  • Groups have options at the Georgia. Beyond general admission there's a group-of-ten ticket and reserved VIP tables with bottle service.
  • Two prices aren't public yet. Il Centro's Eventbrite page shows tickets up to a top price, and Hilton Metrotown hasn't posted one. We'll show the from-price when the sellers do.

Getting there and home
