About this party
Now in its fourth year, I Old School is a throwback party at Rocky Mountain Icehouse on Jasper Avenue, built around '80s, '90s and 2000s music. The tiers decide when you arrive and how comfortable you are. Regular tickets get you in after 9 pm. VIP adds a welcome cocktail, a seat and coat check, with entry from 8:30. The ULTRA tier, at $100, starts at 6:30 with a three-course dinner and party favours. The party runs until 2 am, and bottle service is available by reservation for groups. Eventbrite tickets start at about $33. It's a downtown spot on the main strip, so cabs and ride-shares are easy at closing time, and the format means you can pick how big a night you want rather than paying for a full gala.
