Funky Miracles NYE: Real Love New Year’s Eve

Now in its eleventh year, Real Love's New Year's Eve has become one of the Winnipeg music scene's most dependable year-end parties. The Funky Miracles, a funk and soul band led by John Baron with Austin Parachoniak, Roman Clarke, Keiran Placatka and Erika Einarson, act as the house band for a rotating cast of local singers. This year's guests include FONTINE, Diaphanie, Amos the Kid, Sam Singer and Dominique Adams, plus a secret guest, with E.GG opening the night. Doors at the Park Theatre in Osborne Village open at 9 pm, music starts at 10, and the party goes until about 2 am. It's 18+, and general admission is $32 before fees. The Park is a converted movie house with a proper dance floor, so expect a crowd that's there to move rather than to sit.
