What to know before you book

  • Price the DoubleTree as a stay, not a dinner. The package bundles the room, dinner and party for two, and its price is only shown in the hotel's booking engine for your dates. Compare it against a hotel room plus a separate dinner, not against a dinner ticket. The Keg needs a reservation, so book your table once the room is confirmed.
  • Greg Frewin sells two versions. Dinner and Show includes the buffet; Show Only skips it. Choose the dinner version if you want a full evening in one seat. The show ends at midnight.
  • Delphi books by phone. There's no online ticket link. Call the hall to reserve, and ask about seating if you're a large family group. Adult tickets include the bar; teen and child tickets include dinner.
  • Ages differ. The DoubleTree package is 19+. Delphi welcomes all ages.
  • The fireworks are free and timed. The official schedule has two nine-minute shows over the Falls on December 31, at 8 pm and at midnight, weather permitting. Queen Victoria Park and the Niagara Parkway promenade are the usual Canadian-side viewing spots, and they get busy well before midnight.
  • Dress warmly if you step out. Viewing the midnight show means standing outside by the river in winter.

Getting there and home

Fallsview and Clifton Hill are walkable to each other and to the Falls; Delphi, on Portage Road, is a short drive. If you're not staying over, book a cab home in advance.
