“A singer who actually fronted INXS, hitting 'Need You Tonight' around midnight, is a rare thing to find at a casino showroom.” — clubZone NYE editors
JD Fortune won the reality show that picked INXS's lead singer in 2005 and toured the world with the band, so his INXS show has more claim to the songs than most tributes. He's playing the Chrome Showroom at Deerfoot Inn & Casino on New Year's Eve, with doors at 10 pm and the show at 11, which puts the countdown right in the middle of the set. That late timing is the draw: you can have dinner elsewhere and still arrive for the main event. Tickets are $89, or $99 for the first ten rows. They're sold through the Deerfoot Inn website, which we couldn't load during our check, so confirm availability there. The casino has a hotel on site, and the venue has a second NYE party in its Sundance Ballroom on the same night if your group wants to split up after the show.

Plan your ride home before you head out. Check Calgary Transit's New Year's Eve service plan: late or extra service is often announced in December. Book a taxi or rideshare early, because demand peaks right after midnight, and never drink and drive.
Doors 10 pm, show 11 pm, so the countdown falls mid-set.
$89, or $99 for the first 10 rows.
Through the Deerfoot Inn & Casino website or box office.
Featured parties are paid placements, shown separately. Our picks and the full list are never for sale.
