Why we like it

“Sixty hours of after-hours music from New Year's Eve to Sunday morning: one of the most Toronto ways to start a year.” — clubZone NYE editors

About this party

The Comfort Zone is a Toronto institution for after-hours electronic music, and for 2027 it is pushing New Year's to an extreme. The doors at 1369 Queen Street West in Parkdale open at 10 pm on December 31, and the marathon is billed as running for 60 hours, finishing at 10 am on Sunday, January 3. This is not a countdown-and-cab-home night. It suits people who want to come and go across a long weekend of after-hours dance music, dropping in after another party, or arriving on New Year's Day when the rest of the city is asleep. Tickets are sold through TicketGateway, but no ticket link or price had been published when we checked, so watch the venue's social channels. Expect a late, music-first crowd, with the Queen streetcar right outside. As with any after-hours room, bring ID and look after your crew through the long hours.

Directions

Plan your ride home before you head out. Check the TTC and GO Transit's New Year's Eve service plan: late or extra service is often announced in December. Book a taxi or rideshare early, because demand peaks right after midnight, and never drink and drive.
